Good location and the hotel was just next to the english garden.

Good location next to the English Garden not far from city center and 4) The little river crossing.

It is a great location though in its proximity to the Englisher Gartens.

The airport is quite a way out and a taxi will cost you between 45-55 Euros, depending on traffic.

There is good public transport from this hotel, take the number 54 bus to Giselastrasse and from there you can hop on the underground to almost anywhere.

Sometimes hotels fancifully describe a slightly larger room as a “junior suite” but ours really was a suite- 2 adjoining rooms that had been re-configured to a bedroom/living room configuration.

Nevertheless, we felt comfortable at our room, largely due to its spaciousness and the very cozy bed.

I jumped out of bed, shouted something, and they retreated- through the peephole I could see it was a hotel maid, laden with towels.

In addition very friendly professional service also consierge gave excellent advice, the bed was incredibly huge.

Although out from Munich center transporation was not a problem and taxis were not overly costly even after putting the Hofbrau Haus to bed one night.

The highlights of the hotel stay were the cigar bar, the Tse Yang chinese restaurant, and the English Garden beer garden within a short walk.

One of the highlights of the hotel is its breakfast buffet in the main restaurant with views on the Eisbach river, which runs right outside the windows and next to the outdoor terrace.

We ate a few times at the bar and the food was outstanding and the staff really friendly.

From the check-in desk, we were subjected to the lounge singer absolutely murdering Supertramp’s song, “Breakfast in America”.

We estimate the value of the lounge at 40+ euros/day for two (two breakfasts, two drinks, hors d'oeuvres for two.

Freindly helpful staff, very good service at check-in and rooms were a little tired in some parts.

Location was good, i loved that was near to the Englischer Garten and the staff were excellent in their service.

So no points to Mahmoud from room service, we again observed him being rude and loud with someone at main reception.

Both the lounge and front desk staff were very polite.

The swimming pool is free of charge a little small.

In a nice area, near the English Park and the opportunity to use the small hotel spa free of charge.

Anway, the main problem appeared to be down to housekeeping.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent breakfast.

Great interior, friendly staff and helpful and the room was lovely and clean.

The bedrooms were clean, breakfast was superb.

The bathroom was clean and i loved the breakfast was worth waking up early for.

The rooms are the right size, very clean, with nice views.
