Hilton Midland Plaza - 米德蘭

Location was good as far as getting to the airport and finding food, but not much night life nearby for a downtown location--it was downright empty, and on a Friday night.

I had stayed at this property late 2006 and vowed to never come back, due to 1) the lousy downtown location (no restaurants or anything nearby) and 2) the hourly train horns that woke you up every hour all night long (see the other reviews here).

Check-in was simple, parking was close and free, and the location was pretty good.

The location was pretty good, the hotel was very nice and espresso in the lobby--so that was pretty convenient.

There is a coffee bar in the lobby (Starbucks), a restaurant (which we never saw anyone eating at), and a bar/lounge which looked to be a nice place to have a drink.

The room was clean, the service at the bar was far better and the breakfast was fantastic.

They have a fine dining restaurant, Chez, which is to be avoided at all costs.

The concierge lounge for Hilton Honors members is good--breakfast and evening snacks.

The food is mediocre at best and the breakfast buffet was terrible.

Staff was great and the manager was professional and helpful.

When I called down to the front desk, they told me, "Well, the maids are gone.

The manager was professional and helpful, but seems to have difficulty getting his staff trained and competent in basic job functions.

The lobby is really nice, hotel guests can use the Gold's Gym a few miles down the road for free and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The fitness center is very bare bones, but they have agreement with Gold's Gym, which allows you to get a total work out if you want.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, we found that there was plenty of parking.

There is free wireless internet, which really helps when you have to be away from the office.

The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast, the staff was polite and courteous, the room was very clean.

Rooms clean, very nice breakfast compared to Hiltons crappy oatmeal.

Wired Ethernet was good for HSI, and the room was very clean.

The bathrooms are very small, but they have what you need and are always clean.

It's certainly considered the nicest hotel in town and it has solid facilities -- clean, comfortable rooms, nice lobby, hotel bar, etc.
