In comparison to other hotels in the area this was the most expensive and the least value.
They need to spend some money on renovations, decor, carpeting, etc, but once that is done, this could be a fine hotel.
The location is absolutly perfect if you want to be close to downtown.

Granted, the corridors leading to rooms are a little tired, as is the guest room door, but inside.

We were told we were getting upgraded to a suite, but it turned out to be just a standard executive room with 2 double beds (I believe it was on the 18th or 19th floor).

My preference is the small econo type, free parking close to your room, bar fridge and micro in room, continental breakfast included, morning paper at your door.
Hotel staff were very professional and efficient, the service at the front desk was great, our room was very clean.

Please do not embarass the front desk staff by asking for a discount because they are "renovating" but you already knew that when you booked, or did they forget to tell you that as well?
Elevators are speedy, even with only 3 out of 4 working there was little to no wait even up as high as we were.
Elevators were constantly on the go yet still very little wait because they moved so fast.
Only two of the four elevators worked, resulting in meeting many new friends in the hall waiting.
Our room was very clean and very spacious.
