We loved the location, close to UT and the Old World Fairgrounds, as our rehearsal dinner was held at The Foundry at the Fairgrounds site.
Very convenient location to the convention center.
The location of the hotel is not close to much of anything except the UT conference center, so plan to drive to get to restaurants, shops, etc.
Great location on Church Street to most everything downtown.
I visit the First Tennessee Bank building there when I visit and I didn't order a cab for my return -- the hotel was only a couple of blocks away.
The spacious hotel room and bathroom were in great shape - looked like they may have been recently renovated - and the two beds in the room were very comfortable and had the newer upgraded bedding and 4 fluffy pillows on each bed!
Great new decor in the rooms, great beds and linens and very nice bathrooms with upgraded toiletries and nice thick towels.
The king bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very nice, and everything was clean.
The room was a typical 2 double bed standard room, but everything worked.
The rooms are a very comfortable size and the bathrooms have been updated with granite vanity top (single sink) and granite panels in the tub/shower.
We dined in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed both dinner and breakfast.
Their restaurant is okay for breakfast but the atmosphere is awkward - something about the layout.
The pluses were a full Starbucks in the lobby, an excellent buffet breakfast, convenient self-parking next door to the hotel, and the fact that the hotel is 2 short blocks from Chesapeake's, which may be the best seafood restaurant in Knoxville.
I had dinner both nights and breakfast in the restaurant.
The restaurant staff was very nice I had breakfast.
Service was very good, the concierge lounge was great and the bedding was so awesome.
They also have two of my favourite eating places nearby - one of Bravo's Italian restaurants and also Famous Dave's Barbecue, both of which the front desk staff know well and can give you directions on how to get there.
The Starbucks in the lobby is great, both of the front desk staff know well and the room is clean and cool.
Starbucks coffee, all I had to do was ride the elevator to the lobby!
Overall, the Hilton Knoxville was a very compatible hotel with a friendly staff, nicely outfitted rooms, and many amenities such as a pool and a fitness center.
Teenaged daughter liked having Starbuck's in the lobby.
The wireless internet access was good, but a little slow.
The bathroom was clean, but not spotless.
Great beds and comfortable and clean accomidations.
I was very pleased with the clean decor in the rooms.
Room was clean, the complimentary breakfast was poor and their employees were so friendly and accommodating.
The bathroom was clean, dinner in Marty's restaurant was excellent and meeting facilities were nice.
