The HIlton is well situated to enjoy all Glasgow has to offer and offers much better than average hotel facilities at reasonable prices!
All in all though its located well for the City centre and we think its a good quality hotel at affordable prices.
All in all this was another very enjoyable and good value deal from Hilton in a very good hotel.
Overall I enjoyed the hotel and thought it represented pretty good value and convenience, but I wouldn't say that it was a 5* hotel - simply a good 4*.
The location of the hotel is in the business district, next to other chain hotels.
This location of the Hotel is near the center of Glasgow with only a couple minutes walk to central station.
Sorry – long 5 hour drive and ideal location.
Taxi fare from the hotel to the airport is a fixed fee of £18.
Good access from airport, taxi costs are fairly cheap £2.
The rooms are large and clean, with a lovely bed, big towels and a nice TV – even in a regular room I had a couch.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean with a King sized bed, plasma tv, tea/coffee and fairly large bathroom with the most powerful shower we have had in a hotel.
The room was spotless with a single king sized bed, a comfy chair, desk and chair, widescreen tv, dresser and minibar.
The bed was very comfortable the room in in excellent state of repair with a large flat panel tv and full sized desk for work.
Bed was so comfortable, the toilet was large as well and the breakfast was also superb.
Staff are consistently good, the breakfast and the restaurant service also good; however, why anyone (like our friend from Chicago below) would chose to sit in any hotel room in the centre of Glasgow and eat room service food is beyond me.
The breakfast room is a cluttered brown echo of an American city bar from the eighties and the food, frankly, poor quality.
Breakfast in restaurant was excellent - good buffet and omelettes/pancakes made to order.
She too commented on how friendly the staff were, and said the restaurant staff both at breakfast and dinner couldn't do enough for her.
A great hotel, with a full buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

Fantastic views across River Clyde, attentive and efficient staff in all areas of the hotel, everyone from doorman to reception etc were very helpful.
Friendly & helpful staff, enthusiastic receptionist and the room was available earlier than check-in time made a huge difference to us.
This hotel was the best, staff were attentive and the concierge was very helpful.
The health facilities were great and staff again very helpful, a pool, spa, sauna/steam room and gym are on the lower ground floor.
The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were as to be expected.
The wellbeing centre was very good, with a decent sized pool, a jacuzzi as well as a sauna & steam room.
Additionally this room was spotless, the food was excellent.
I would also say the rooms were clean, well fitted and I could not fault the staff who went out of their way to be helpful.
When we arrived, we found a clean and nice room, and from the 15th floor we got a quite nice view over the city as well.
The room, although comfortable and clean, was average and had no wow factor.
Stayed here one night and found hotel to be very clean, room good size and be very comfortable.
