I'd say it's probably one of the best hotel in the area if you're willing to pay for it.
The room was very nice, two rooms, two bath, big spa tub, seperate shower, living area with pull out.
We had reserved an "evolution room" which they said had a king bed and a sofa bed.
When we arrived I asked if the evolution room had linens for the sofa bed and they said it didn't have a sofa bed and they steered us into a 2 queen bed room.
The Hilton Garden Inn is the best hotel in Rockford and the beds are great the bathrooms are beautiful.
Additionally the price was great, the staff were more than friendly and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
99 breakfast buffet seemed overpriced as there are literally 30 restaurants within a five minute drive of the hotel with cheaper and probably tastier food.
The restaurant staff was very attentive for breakfast.
The negatives were (no dinner service in the restaurant - although there are a lot of restaurants nearby including a Ruby Tuesday next door), and being very crowded (busy).

TRULY A GREAT PLACE TO STAY, the front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant, beds were very comfortable.
It's new, which makes everything look nice, of course, but additionally, the service at the front desk, housekeeping and restaurant were terrific.
Pleasant common areas, great hotel and the lobby is very comfortable to sit in.
The pool was awesome with a small kids area for the little guy.
The pool, WOW, my five year old LOVED it, as well as myself and my husband.
Free wireless internet was a pleasant surprise, as we had just paid for internet at a Hilton property in downtown Madison Wis.
The hotel was comfortable and large, the front desk agent Steven was very warm and friendly, the rooms were so clean.
Staff was great, room was very clean and food was fine.
