  As an airport hotel, I was pleasantly surprised with the near absence of plane noise. The only issue I had with the location was that there are no restaurants nearby. The bed was very good, the A/C worked well and the shower was good. Relatively few TV channels -- 24 of them I think. What really stood out was the friendly staff.

• INCREDIBLE breakfast (fees do apply), but it beats having to get out to look for a good yet safe place to eat. The rooms are clean, bright, the most friendly staff you will find in any hotel.

  As the previous poster stated, the staff was amazing. The indoor pool was perfect and very well maintained. The comments regards the discomfort of the rooms are unfounded. First, although this hotel is an "airport location", there is zero noise. I attribute this to the construction of the hotel and better than average windows. I too had a room with two beds and I have to disagree with the prior poster. The beds are so cozy you won't want to leave!

  Maybe this poster received a tired room or has a tired back but I slept like a baby at this Garden Inn.

  The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The restaurant in the lobby prepared very good food. The only room I could get had doubles--maybe the King size are better.

  They have an indoor pool, and a fireplace in the lobby (it was in the 20s and 30s while I was here). I can honestly say that mattress in my room was the absolute worst mattress I've slept in for a LONG time.

  Did not have any problems with hearing the airplanes other than when the window was open. I had requested a room close to the elevator since my husband has difficulty walking long distances, both rooms were right off the elevator. We never experienced any noise from guests getting off the elevators either.

  I said that was fine and then they said they had made a mistake and that there were no room left that were non-smoking.

  Arrived late and was told only smoking rooms were left among the King Bed rooms. My reservation and profile both state NO SMOKING preference. Then they made up a story about only having Queen Bed rooms with NO SMOKING. They gave me three room keys and suggested I open each room to determine how badly the room reeked from cigarettes.

  It took three times and three floors to get our room right. The rooms were quite for the amount of people in the hotel.

  Upon arrival we were not greeted in a friendly manner, rather keys were slid across the counter to us and a finger pointed us to the elevator. Once to our room, we opened the door to enter a room that was obviously already occupied. Returning to the front desk for a new room, we did not even receive an apology. The rooms on the back of the hotel seem to be quieter.

  The indoor pool is thrashing on the weekends due to families staying there. There's lots of competition in the area and I think next time we'll try another place, mostly due to the ambivalent service we received.

  Top floor on request,good reception, nice lobby, clean,fireplace,bar/rest.
