Hilton Garden Inn Charlottesville

The location is convenient to Monticello, hotel is very well located to old town Charlottesville and microwave in the room is a nice touch traveling.

Pros: Very convenient location near highway 64 and just a few miles from the downtown Charlottesville area.

I would definitely stay here again as it is a quiet, but convenient location.

Good parking facilities, and in a quiet location with lake to the rear of the property.

For example, the floor lamp could be turned on with your foot, the cremora for coffee was liquid instead of powder, duvet covers, etc.

The suite had a sitting room with a pull-out sofa, microwave, little fridge, flat screen tv and 1/2 bath, and the attached bedroom had a comfortable king-size bed, another flat screen tv and large bathroom.

The 2 rooms was important to us because our children are small and we like to have a separate room to stay up and watch TV after they're in bed for the night.

Comfortable beds (sleep number adjustable), flat screen tv, granite countertop in bathroom, high speed internet access in room, and Neutrogena bath amenities.

The suite had a full bath off the bedroom that was HUGE--with a very large jacuzzi tub and separate shower.

Otherwise the stay was fine, the service was very nice and the attached bedroom had a comfortable king-size bed.

There's a small bar and a restaurant, but we only used the latter for breakfast which was good value.

The amenities are superb: lobby bar, food service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, indoor pool and exercise room.

In terms of food, the hotel has a small restaurant that serves a full American breakfast with eggs, bacon, fruit, pastries, etc.

We had the breakfast bar twice and dinner once.

The Hilton Garden Inn is a bit outside Charlottesville and the hotel restaurant, while fine for breakfast, probably isn't where you would like to have dinner in a town with as many good choices as Charlottesville.

The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly, and provided great service.

This hotel was wonderful, the staff was extremely pleasant and i ordered room service was delivered surprisingly fast.

Great view and the hotel offers free parking.

The home of Thomas Jefferson as well as Ash Lawn-Highland, on its great rate of $117 total for a Saturday night and the lobby is beautiful and clean.

Free coffee, attentive waitress and heated pool.

I was able to get my work done with free wireless Internet.

The free wireless Internet did work, though and we made a lot of use of that planning out our itineraries and checking resaurant reviews on our laptop.

Staff were friendly, room was clear and jacuzzi were clean.

Rooms were clean and everything seemed modern.

The hotel was clean, staff were very cheerful and helpful, the bathroom was nice.

Rooms were clean, the breakfast was excellent.

The hotel itself is in a Great Location and the rooms are clean.
