Although the price was a bit more than some of the other hotels I have stayed in in bakersfield, it was a bargain for the experience.
Price was pretty reasonable I thought particularly for such a nice hotel.
The fitness centre was especially appreciated after a long drive, the hotel was clean and best price I found was on Booked.
Really nice hotel and the rate was great.

The location is perfect for food choices, some in walking distance and others only a mile or so away.
The room itself was nice and clean with a small refrigerator, microwave, comfortable bed w/nice linens, tasteful furnishings.
Spacious, two good comfortable beds, nice bathroom, nice toiletries, microwave, fridge (small shop next to reception for food, drink) good reception and channels on the TV, big desk.
But then they did give us loads of extra bedding so that we could make up a makeshift bed on the floor for one of the kids.
Modern hotel, excellant helpful staff and the bed was very comfy.
The Bed was SO comfy and breakfast was very good.

Spotless, airy reception with seating to the left and a bar and restaurant area to the right.
Had dinner at their restaurant American Grill- food was very good.
I did not eat in the restaurant so can not report on that.
In addition the front desk staff is always so friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean spacious and quiet.
At the reception desk, I asked the receptionist for a quiet room on a higher floor.
