Hilton Evian-Les-Bains - Évian-les-Bains

Situated in the great location, quiet town of Evian and staff made us very welcome and comfortable.

The location is excellent, evian town is quite nice and the reception to the hotel is fantastic.

Excellent location, the hotel also has an attractive outdoor pool and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

When we arrived at Evian-les-Bains, the sole cab waiting at the station picked up another traveler, but the driver promised to send another taxi within five minutes.

We flew to Geneva airport where we caught a train(30mins) to Lausanne where we caught the ferry to Evian(35mins).

Not much of one if you need to stay in a disabled room - no terrace, the windows were very high with a side view of the lake, and the bathroom concession to disability was a high toilet and grab rails round it and the bath.

The room itself was great - larger than average, everything brand new, huge bed, balcony overlooking the lake, plasma TV, etc.

The view from the room is beautiful, hotel is very good and nice balcony overlooking the flower beds.

Perfect staff, comfortable bed and breakfast was very good.

The over-all service was fine for a 3-star, the bathroom concession to disability was a high toilet and the Spa was nice.

Although we didn’t eat in the restaurant we did have the breakfast which as you would expect was second to none.

We had booked a deluxe room including the famous hilton breakfast and dinner in the Hotel restaurant - Paying 270 Euros.

5) Access to the pool was through the locker rooms - a wheelchair user would find the corridors very hard to negotiate round the corners, but there was an access door with a very high step near the lift.

The hotel also has a strking indoor pool, edged by bamboo; Japanese hot and cold soaking tubs; rain showers; a sauna; and a steambath.

The balcony is large enough to sit two people, the spa is excellent too.

Moreover the locker rooms are spotless, the breakfast buffet is excellent expensive.
