Hilton Durban Hotel - 德班

The business centre has more than adequate facilties and the location of the hotel was very convenient as is close to the beach front.

The Hotel location make easy to get to places like: city centre and service as you'd expect from a Hilton - realtively good.

Only minor niggle is location - close & great for the COnvention Centre but clearly in a security sensitive area.

Taxis were almost always available to go to the beach (R20 including tip less then $3 US) and while the Hilton was not next to the beach or Florida road with all the restaurants it was easy to get around by taxi and cheap.

Make sure to get a business card from a Shashis taxi driver for your return trip.

Efficient and good quality room service, i liked that all staff were friendly, bed comfortable the atmsphere generally was the best would definetly come back.

We were upgraded to a very spacious corner room and given access to the club floor (husband is a gold member), but the bed was soft and uncomfortable and the club floor selection at breakfast and snacks was subpar.

Some of the reviews said the rooms were dated, and I don't know if the regular rooms haven't been renovated as recently or something, but my room was very nice.

The bathroom was big, with a separate tub and shower.

I loved the bathroom but was disappointed with the hot water from the tap that was not very hot(well not hot enough for my wife).

Room comfortable, excellent bar facility and food / Restaurant is great.

We had a really good view and on most days could see out to the sea (distantly) I used the hotel restaurants for breakfast and lunch and these were always good and decently priced.

The Staff were very friendly the hotel very clean just perfect, service was good and reception also upgraded our booked room as there were no non smoking rooms available.

The front desk staff was the best, in particular were Wellington, Kerri, Pretty and the concierge Jacob.

An oasis of calm in Durban, the staff very friendly and the service for the meeting rooms was great - coffee.

Prices are reasonable by world standards, helpful front desk staff and breakfast is the best.

Pool and fitness room were tiny for a "resort" destination.

Their gym is too small for an Hilton hotel.

The pool was small but was a welcome suprise for my daughter and husband.
