Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel - 布赖顿

The location is very convenient, the hotel is very well located directly adjacent to the beach.

A good location, right on the sea front and close to the town centre.

Great location just next door to The Grand - also has a good cocktail bar called 106 - worth a visit.

As we arrived later than we planned, they rang the restaurant for us to rearrange our reservation and then cajoled a taxi company into sending a cab for us when they originally said they were booked up due to the dreadful weather.

I was checked into the equivalent of a broom cupboard and on objecting was put "in the basement" with the underground car park exit right outside.

Both rooms were furnished in a way that reminded me of the 2 star seaside hotels 20 years ago - damaged wooden freestanding wardrobe, tiny bed, chipped sinks and baths, paint coming off the walls both in the rooms and the corridors.

The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious, with a heated floor, bath and shower.

The sea-view room that we had this time around was contemporary in design, neutral colours, good comfortable bed, decent enough space however, the bathroom was a shocker.

My room was large with a mini bar, king size bed and flat screen TV.

The suite was lovely, the size of a small terraced house, good mini bar, 2 TVs, nice bathroom with big bath and separate walk in shower.

The breakfast were excellent though with eggs cooked to order as you like in the restaurant, we went out to eat both evenings.

Food in all areas has just dropped in standard to previous visit, room service, restaurant etc even breakfast!

Restaurant wise, the Breakfast is fantastic with a massive range of cold, cooked and freshly prepared items.

Very large hotel with a good restaurant and bar.

Breakfast (included in the rate) was outstanding, as you would expect it to be at a Hilton, and was served in the magnificient see-facing restaurant.

From reception staff who always remembered our names, to the concierge enthusiastic in recommendations on every aspect of Brighton, and the breakfast staff who each day reserved us the same table and remembered our choice of specialist tea.

Firstly the staff are so helpful, particularly the Reception staff and the Concierge.

Reception, concierge, bellstaff and the waiters in the restaurant were all very helpful, friendly and a professional.

The bar was wonderful, if a little pricey, have a mai tai if you go, it was yummy, the bar staff were brilliant too, very polite and helpful, great waiter service too.

Good swim area - small pool but very warm has a Sauna/steam and Jacuzzi.

We managed to use the leisure facilities - a swimming pool and sauna which was great with towels provided and changing areas and lockers.

pool/sauna/steam room was pleasant, breakfast was nice and comfortable and had great facilities.

Overall book with care and do not expect a clean tidy room.

The room was clean and breakfast was excellent.

The rooms could probably do with a rennovation soon, but are still very clean.

The rooms were better than I'd thought we'd get for the money, plenty of space and very clean.
