Hilton Anatole Dallas - 达拉斯

I wasn't crazy about the location which is a ways from the airport and the convention center, but it would be an excellent choice for a meeting held exclusively on-site.

At each location, the food was very good.

This is partly due to the location, hard up against 14 lanes of traffic in a slightly dodgy part of town and partly because of the hotel's sheer size.

It is not downtown, and at least 30 mins from the airport.

Bedrooms were average, but I'm not used to a nice hotel like this having full sized beds instead of queens in their double rooms - my husband and I are both tall people and we were pretty cramped in our bed.

We had to change rooms three times before we were placed in an appropriate one: first there was only one bed, then the room smelled of smoke (in a no-smoking hotel), but finally we got a nice room -- well appointed and comfortable.

Then I find out that my room preferences on my Hilton Honor profile (non-smoking room, high floor, away from elevator, king size bed) were completely ignored and I was placed in a room next to the elevator on the 4th floor with double beds.

I was given a conference room/bedroom - meaning a murphy bed was in the room along with a seating area and a 12-person conference table for conducting business.

Not perfect - couldn't get king bed, a/c in room didn't cool very well (a friend on the 7th floor said she froze), expensive food, no maid service (did immediately bring up clean towels when requested).

I ate breakfast at the higher-end restaurant and has the best huevos rancheros of my life (a mexican fried egg dish).

I brought my free hot tea from my room and had a nice quick "breakfast" in their bar that is in open area of the lobby.

We ate in all of the restaurants on site, because you are located a cab's drive from any other dining locations.

That said, the quickie food in the main open atrium area is reasonable for breakfast, but a bit expensive (like most hotels) for lunch.

Location was pretty bad - the only place to eat, within walking distance, was a Denny's - otherwise you had to eat at the hotel restaurants, which were overly priced and had mediocre food.

All of the hotel staff were awesome, service was great and the room was clean and pleasant.

For the price I got off of Hotwire ($79), my stay last night was a bargain, but beware the incompetent staff at the front desk: two young men in training finally had to get a supervisor to handle my PREPAID reservation.

The hotel was clean, service was good by all staff and this room had clearly been recently renovated.

Overnight self-parking costs $15 per night, and you have to pay a fee to use their gym.

There was an "out of order sink" in the men's locker room, rusting drain troughs in the pool and yucky tile in the yucky jacuzzi area.

There is nothing quaint or boutique about this Dallas shrine to excess, but if you have to be stuck in a hotel for days without a car, there is much here to keep you entertained: spa, pool, bars, sculpture gardens, restaurants.

Had a choice of modem or high-speed access (join the Wyndham rewards program and the high-speed is free).

The entire hotel is very clean and rooms are large.

Rooms have been massive, clean and consistent with my Hilton experiences.
