Hotel Hesperia Bilbao - 毕尔巴鄂

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel by the river and close to both the old town and the new town is very handy.

Great location next to the river with a view from the plate-glassed cafe downstairs of the Guggenheim downriver on one side and the Santiago Calatrava pedestrian bridge practically next to the hotel on the other side.

Excellent location, excellent rooms, excellent breakfast, all very new, very modern, very clean.

Situated right on the river, it has easy access to all parts of the city, with a tram stop just over the foot bridge and within easy walking distance of the Guggenheim.

The hotel is centrally located, close to the Guggenheim, airport and old town.

It is designer like with nice bedrooms a la coffee colour / cream and dark wood, good bed and lovely bathroom.

We were lucky enough to stay in a junior suite with separate seating and sleeping areas (great for a family as the sofa converted into another bed).

The room was funky as was the hotel but the room was quite small, not much space between case rest and the bed.

Plenty of room to move and store things, even with the extra bed in.

Furthermore the maid service was especially good and a pull out bed that was too thin to be comfortable.

The room was big, the bar service was good and the breakfast was excellent.

Clean air-conditioned rooms, bar good for pintxos and the buffet breakfast offers excellent choice.

Bar staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great.

The breakfast buffet served in the restaurant is of an extremely high standard.

In addition hotel location was excellent, the staff were so very helpful and the receptionist was always more than happy enough to assist me.

The staff are really service minded; got loads of info on Bilbao when checking in, and they were helpful re.

Parking is about 15 Euros a day - worth it as parking is a nightmare in Bilbao.

As for the wireless connection comments: I didn't try it myself, but others at the meeting reports persistent problems with it, and were not able to use it most of the time.

Friendly and useful receptionists, free Internet WI-FI (in our case don't working).

The staff are super friendly, the hotel spotless, the rooms not only comfortable but original in many design details (the hotel has clearly tried to pick up on the stimulus the Guggenheim has given to the city's image as a city of art and design).
