There was no iron in the rooms. I had to use one from a communal laundry, this was very inconvenient.

The friendly and efficient staff and the layout of the Lodge was excellent. Having no vehicle parking immediately outside the entry door but close by provided a much nicer outlook. Easy access to the swimming pool was a plus as well as the short walk to the beach.

the care and attention we received upon arrival and through out our stay was second to none. The Lodge IS in a quiet location but within easy access to the beach, shops,resterants and other amenities. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable .A nice pool is very inviting and a BBQ area is available for use when ever you wish.DVDs can be borrowed from the office The laundry facilitiesare very good. I would recomend Hervey Bay Colonial Lodge for a lovely peacefull holiday.

This is a no thrills but well equipped motel with good quality modern amenities. I chose this based on the reviews and my expectations were fulfilled if not exceeded. The value for money (2 bedroom apartment for just over $100) is outstanding, and yet it's not just that but it is well equipped with modern shower etc, And see service is also outstanding, with Peter going out of his way to make us feel comfortable as possible. Highly recommended.

Hosts Michael & Peter were very friendly & helpful, the location is perfect only one street back from the Esplanade. Attention to detail & made sure we were informed of facilities on offer at the lodge. Great holiday experience, would highly recommend.

The relativ small Lodge, only 7 cabins, gives a comfortable atmosphere. The cabins are in brand new condition, everything is on board to have a perfect time. The owners take very good care for their guests They are day and night available. Nice garden and swimming pool. A recommendation ! Very close from the beach and Hervey Bay is a nice place with a beautiful beach. Trips to Frazer Islands are very easy it is close to the ferry harbour.

Wonderful friendly welcome from Peter when we arrived. Lovely clean fully equipped unit with separate bedroom. Peter filled us in with trips that were available, unfortunately we just missed the Whaleing tours, although we arrived late in the afternoon he booked a trip for us the next day to Fraser Island. We only booked for one night and the resort was full but Peter went out of his way for us to have alternative accommodation at a reduced rate which was just as comfortable. In the end we booked to stay 3 nights. The beach was just around the corner and local shops nearby. Peter, Michael and Kaye couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable, you won't regret it if you book here but you do need transport.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, modern and comfortable. Located close to the beach and shops and is well suited for a family holiday.
There was no iron and board in the room, it is available in the laundry but would be more convenient if it was in the room.
