The staff were very firendly and efficient, the food good quite and reasonably priced for an hotel (we had a dinner price allowance in our package).
For the standard of the hotel everything was grossly overpriced.
Excellent hotel, 5 minutes drive from blackppol pleasure beach.
The hotel is next to the zoo and model village so is a great location for kids.
All the staff were friendly and the hotel location was excellent , close to Blackpool but also far enough away to relax from drunken stag & hen nights.
The location is ideal for a jaunt into Blackpool, the 19th hole is a lovely place for a drink and rooms are nice a little dated.
Taxis are plentiful in Blackpool and there is also a bus service from the end of the hotel drive.
Short taxi ride to the town centre but far enough away to escape the madness of Blackpool.
The room was quite small - but we had a huge 2m square bed in it which was excellent, and our bathroom was lovely too!
On check in we were given a free upgrade to a club room, this room had a larger bed and better quality bedding than on our previous visit when we had a standard room.
It was also freezing cold - the heating only worked when the key card was in the slot so when I came back from a meal to go to bed, the room was stone cold on a night of freezing rain and 2 degree temperature.
This hotel more than met our expectations, the rooms were spacious (even with the sofa made into a bed), very clean with all the luxuries you would expect and a little welcome pack for the litlle one.
The room itself was spacious and clean - we booked a standard room and were pleasantly surprised with the huge king size bed and more than adequate facilities.
The facilities were good except for the bar/toilets, we had a great meal at the newley refurbished Italian restaurant and dinner was excellent.
Breakfast was excellent and staff very attentive, nineteenth bar meals were good if a little pricey, evening menu was varied and offered a special.
Prices in the restaurant were rather high, for those on a tighter budget we would recommend the bar overlooking the golf course.
The terrace of the nineteen bar enjoys the best of the sunshine, good breakfast and the swimming pool is excellent.

The concierge and reception staff were as helpful as I have met.
What'sgood - the staff - receptionist excellent manner and very polite, attentive and gave impression nothing was too much trouble.
We arrived in the afternoon and were met by the very friendly reception staff.
A plus point was the leisure facilities - and excellent pool, steam room, gym and sauna etc.
The pool and gym etc have also been revamped recently so the whole experience was very pleasant.
The sauna was nice and hot, the food was of high standard, the gym was well equipped.
Wireless internet access was NOT available on all romms despite the in-room literature stating it was and the wired access just did not work (the freephone help desk was worse than useless).
The room was clean and choice of buffet breakfast was very good.
The rooms very clean and due to the high ceilings.
I stayed here on business and had a "Club room" which was clean and had little extras such as dressing gown and slippers.
The bathroom was lovely and clean but not very spacious.
The room which overlooked the golf course was spacious and clean.
