The feast & cultural show was amazing and great value, breakfast was great with lots of things available that we have not seen at other hotels.
We attended the Hangi dinner and the Maori show at the hotel but it was highly disappointing and certainly not worth the money: the food was so and so and the show was basically for tourists.

A little out of town centre but there is a regular shuttle bus during the day into town and around $10 by taxi.
Stop for coffee at the Landing Cafe down by the lake, feed the swans, take a water taxi.
After rejecting this, we were allocated a room on the ground floor with a queen bed (they dont have king beds in their superior rooms, as it turns out - you'd think the website would mention that!
Clean and modern hotel, very friendly staff, the 2 king-sized bed room on the 1st floor was really spacious and quiet.
The rooms are average but the bathrooms are great for young families as they have a bath.
The room was small with 2 beds crammed in but still clean and comfortable with a good size bathroom.

Bar/restaurant area are spacious, fine modern hotel close to the main sites of interest and great price off www.

Excellent service, comfy beds and the restaurant staff were freindly and efficient.
The staff are super friendly and helpful, the room service is good.
Their restaurant service was sufficient, however, you could use their free shuttle services for shopping and eating in town.
The pool and spa were big hits with the children and the gym was well-equipped.
