Heritage Hotel Bruges - 布鲁日

The hotel is situated in an excellent central location close to the main square, shops and eating places.

Not only the location is convenient to Markt Square and the hotel is well located near the center of town.

Hotel Heritage is in a excellent location situated in a relatively quiet back street just a 1 minute walk away from the Markt (the central square of Bruges).

An excellent hotel only 5 minutes taxi ride away from the railway station.

The whole city can be explored on foot so there's no need to negotiate public transport.

We booked a superior double room, which meant lovely fluffy bath robes, a luxurious bed, and a slightly meagre fruit basket.

The public rooms are exquisite with a cozy parlor with fireplace and a library style small bar, and our suite was wonderful with a lovely jacuzzi tub in the marble bath with Hermes amenities!

Our room (superior) was petite in scale but suptuously decorated, had a very comfortable king-sized bed.

Although the rooms were small they were nicely decorated and the bed comfortable.

The rooms were big enough to have room to walk nice bathroom with a door!

As a note of interest many of these restaurants also offer continental breakfasts - the restaurant situated by city hall offers such a breakfast for 7.

The bar is very nice, the breakfast is amazing too - well worth the money.

A fully cooked breakfast was readily available at nearby restaurants for half of that price.

How can anybody complain about eating their breakfast by candlelight in the beautiful dining room that has the most gorgeous original painted ceiling?

The breakfast, served in an elegant dining room, was abundant and delicious - plenty of food for all tastes.

It was very cold when we were staying and it would have been nice to have been able to prepare yourself a hot drink when you got back to your room without having to bother the reception staff downstairs.

If they wish you to tip their excellent reception staff, perhaps a card in the room would be a way to do it--but how often do you tip the reception staff?

Secondly, from arrival, the reception staff were nothing less than professional, courteous, helpful and polite.

Very well situated, all in all a very enjoyable stay and the reception staff were very friendly.

Use of the Sauna is also 15 Euros per individual per use, and we would have expected this to be complimentary in a hotel of this calibre, as we have found in many European countries.

There is even a gym in the basement, which is the only remaining medieval portion of the building.

The rooms are spotlessly clean and the terrace is really only big enough for two.

Atmosphere so cosy that you instantly start feeling at home that is a rare thing, the staff could not have been more helpful and the rooms are spotlessly clean.

Rooms were clean and the breakfast buffet was beautiful.

The bathrooms were spotless and the complimentary toiletries were of very high standard.

The rooms are looked after, clean and cosy.
