Hotel Heritage Christchurch - 基督城

The location was superb, i thought the hotel was well located and the building itself was beautiful.

The location was very central and opposite the main square where the tourist information centre is located.

Fantastic location in a beautiful city, the hotel in extremely well located to the main area of shops and gym in basement of old building so handy for us.

I did'nt need to do a thing, they booked all I needed for me and when we had got to the airport and forgotton a bag it was no trouble to put it in a taxi and send it to us in no time.

It is located out beside the airport and can be reached in fifteen minutes using the “$5 Bus Company” which leaves from the square.

The suite was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 pre-teens, with a nicely-equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, washer & dryer, and two bedrooms, one with a King bed and one with two twin beds.

The room was very spacious, had a comfy king size bed, there was a view of the back of the Cathedral, a huge bathroom with bath and shower, there was a dishwasher, oven and cooktop and microwave.

Two storey ceilings, two bedrooms upstairs, two bathrooms (one with bath), dining room and kitchen.

The room had a pillar in the center of the room, so we couldnt see the TV easily from one side of the bed.

We had a two bedroom, two story apartment, with full kitchen, living room, washer dryer.

Bar service in the adjoining room was, to say the least, very slow Breakfast was a an unexceptional buffet arrangement and as with these circumstances, a hot cooked breakfast was but a pipe dream with food served at best tepid.

The kitchen was well equipped and the breakfast in the gorgeous Heritage restaurant was simply superb.

We only used the restaurant for breakfast, but it was very good for that.

Great amenities with a good bar and restaurant and very friendly staff, which is not all that unusual in NZ.

Cathedral Square as well so you are in the heart of everything - there is also a fab spa, bar and restaurant in the hotel and the room service is spectacular!

The total price was also reasonable, staff were excellent and the receptionist was very helpful.

Location was perfect, hotel staff were very nice and service was great too.

Staff ranged from medicore to excellent which also applied to the restaurant and the food although room service, according to our son, was good.

Had a window jammed open and services turned within 4 minutes of me calling reception and fixed it.

There is a nice lap pool, sauna, spa and gym.

I went to the gym and it was great, had all I needed, the kids used the pool and spa and enjoyed that.

Fitness centre present although the swimming pool rather small and at the lime of my visit the sauna was not working.

Stayed first night in the Heritage (Clean, big, comfortable modern room) and we returned for another night after touring south island.

Clean bathroom and a large wardrobe, equipped with safe and rate included a complimentary newspaper.

Our room was just lovely and completely spotless.

The rooms have recently been renovated and you could tell - everything looked new and clean.

My room was clean with air-conditioning although there was not a room safe.
