I had a great time staying at this hotel. the location was fantastic with easy walking distance to local cafes and restaurants. Secondly, the staff were really helpful and provided such great service. Thirdly, I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in the rooms and common areas.
All in all, this hotel was a wonderful experience, nothing to complain about!

Very clean, pleasant and value for money. Quite liked the kitch 70's decor in particular the paintings and corridor carpet. Also liked the deco feel of the dining room and parlours. Breakfast was great. Good choice of cereals, breads and fruit etc. Nice that you could make your own plunger coffee. Good choice of teas. Staff were very pleasnat and helpful. Great parking out the back. Will definitely book again and recommend it to others. Thanks.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional, as the prices were very reasonable for the quality of accommodation provided. Secondly, the attention to detail was evident throughout our stay; from the beautifully updated bathrooms to the cozy rooms in front of the fireplace, it truly felt like a scene from a film shoot. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect - situated near a courtyard and even boasting a nice outdoor undercover area. There were plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants within close proximity, making it a convenient choice for exploring the area. Lastly, the service from the staff was commendable; they were always friendly, attentive, and provided a delicious breakfast each morning.
All was just as we had hoped!

i love the comfortable feel of the place. it was very clean and had a retro, quaint sort of charm about it from the art deco figurine lamps to paintings straight out of the 50s and 60s. The sitting rooms were very comfortable and it was a nice place to sit and read with feet up on old style poufes. It was a nice touch having a wireless which was almost the same as the one in my childhood home playing in the dining room at breakfast. Staff were welcoming and helpful. with a good knowledge of the town.
it would have been nice if the piano was tuned as my husband can play but the piano sounded awful. I believe we were overcharged for the weekend due to higher commisions paid to this web site which is disappointing. There could have been tissues available in the rooms and fresh towels should have been provided each day and the bed made up if we paid for two nights. Breakfast was very well presented and offerered a wide variety of cereals, breads etc but Geoff would have liked a cooked breakfast option.

Couldn't find any faults at all.

During our family trip, we found a lovely quaint guesthouse that had a relaxing old-world charm. We enjoyed the community lounge where we played games and enjoyed the use of free coffee and tea. The staff helped us with planning dinner and local activities. The location was perfect, as it was close to many attractions, stores, and dining options. The room had cozy air-con and central heating, and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was delicious, and the massage service was divine.
The heating in our room was limited and didn't fully heat up the space on a cold night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. The other people staying were nice. I liked having an area where there were books and magazines that we could read. Breakfast was good and there were enough choices. The rooms were cozy and beautifully clean.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. A hairdryer in the room would have been nice and maybe a program for the tv, but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the cozy and warm common areas, perfect for socializing with other guests. The central location made it easy to access nearby attractions and restaurants. I also appreciated the friendly staff and their willingness to help with any questions or concerns.
The room was smaller than expected and lacked basic amenities like coffee/tea or a DVD player. The noise level was high due to thin walls and noisy floorboards.

Location was ideal and staff were helpful, informative and friendly.
The room was dated and in need of decorating, particularly in the bathroom and toilet, with paint flaking from walls, algae on the light and window covering missing in the bathroom. The room was very cold, with heating on a timer.
