But they are terrific for the money, well furnished, nicely decorated, good attention to detail, and id say worth 50% to 75% more, and equal to rooms twice the price at the major hotel chains, ie; Hyatt, Sheraton, etc.
Lastly, the price was unbelievable compared to the other hotels along the Harbor.
Sure, the rooms are clean and the price is very reasonable; and you could probably find decor as nice in at least a few other hotels in the state.
For the money, you can't find a nicer hotel.
Located in Fells Point, two blocks from water taxi and the bars and restaurants made it the perfect location.
The location near Fells Point was great with lots of nearby attractions, restaurants, shopping, and it was walking distance to Little Italy.
The Wharf Inn is in a great location next to the water.
Should you decide to venture downtown for sightseeing, shopping, dining or to see a ballgame, the downtown area is accessible by Water Taxi, or if you like to walk, by foot.
A short ($10) taxi ride from the train station led us to Fells point a part of Baltimore that time has forgotten, the quiet street that leads to the hotel is the street that Fells point has Forgotten.
The bed was so comfortable and the room looked right out onto the water.
The room was huge, two four poster beds, water & dock view, luxurious bathroom.
If your room is on the first floor facing the harbor you will have early morning joggers running right outside your window, so you might want to close the shutters before you go to bed.
The rooms were large and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy and we just can't say enough about it - it far exceeded our expectations!
And since the temperature outside was very hot during our stay, the little breakfast bar area with fridge was appreciated.
The buffet itself was, however, more than adequate and enabled me to eat a good healthy breakfast each morning - probably doing me some good over what I might have eaten had a more extensive cooked buffet been available!
The hotel is located 2 blocks from the fun old part of town with the many unique shops, restaurants, clubs, and cobblestone streets.
Close walk to the Fells Point restaurants and shops, yet quiet enough to be peaceful.
Fells Point is a great neighborhood, filled with restaurant, pubs, shops, and attractions.
The lobby is full of gorgeous furnishings, the front desk staff are so helpful and friendly, enthusiastic employee by the name of Kelly.
The front desk staff are so welcoming, we really liked the mini-bar set up in the room as well and a reasonably good breakfast is served each morning.
The location is wonderful, the hotel staff could not have been more hospitable and the front desk very helpful.
There are tables in the lobby and set out amidst the beautiful garden courtyards for you to enjoy your breakfast; yet there are also large trays for those who wish to take breakfast back to your room.
You can choose to enjoy breakfast in the garden or lobby, or use a bamboo tray to carry your tasties as you return to your room.
The hotel has a nice lobby with a lovely garden in the middle.
There is free high speed internet in the rooms and wireless access throughout the common areas.
Breakfast than your traditional hotel, knowledgeable staff and the bathrooms were lovely and clean.
Bath were spotless, the continental breakfast was great.
The staff was friendly and my room was clean and spacious.
The rooms are filled with gorgeous furnishings and live plants, and impeccably clean.
The bathroom was also nice and very clean.
