Getting there

The hotel is characterised by its location on the beach, with the forest and the Aarhus Beach Promenade leading to the Marina. It is only a few minutes from the Catlink ferry terminal and Åarhus Central Station and 45km from Tirstrup airport.

Getting around

Tirstrup airport is 45km from the property, while the Aarhus train station is 3km away.

Arriving from South E45 at junction 50 Aarhus S turn towards Åarhus. At the first set of lights drive straight ahead towards Centrum – after 5 set of lights turn towards Odder. Just after the bus stop turn left and then immediately turn right along the sea. At the second set of lights continue along the sea and Helnan Marselis Hotel is right in front of you.

Arriving from North E45 at junction 46 Åarhus N continue towards Åarhus. Drive all the way towards the harbour – make a right turn to the road called Kystvejen – which is just before the harbour area starts – drive through the city and continue along the sea towards Moesgard and Helnan Marselis Hotel will be on your left in front of you.

Arriving from Tirstrup airport drive via the main highway 15 towards Åarhus. Drive straight ahead on this road all through the city. Continue along the sea towards Moesgard and Helnan Marselis Hotel will be on your left in front of you.

Nice and quite location near the sea, great service. Since no air conditioning in the room i was forced to keep the balcony door open during night, staff friendly did club sandwich at night in bar as had meal midday without problems.

Nice view close to city center, the big terrace and the access to the beach, the hotel is in a beautiful location. Inexperienced staff seem to have no idea of customer service, clean of bathroom should be easilly improuved and the Breakfast is really good and has a large variety of food for everybody.

Great view of the sea and excellent breakfast buffet in room overlooking the bay. Very nice setting, friendly staff and big bed. Definitely a good choice.

Bar not exciting and poor coffee. Really old facility.
