A very good hotel, the reasonable price and we just loved having high tea in the lobby.
When will hotels learn that it upsets guests to pay a premium price for a room then add nit-picky charges on top of it?
Room had everything we needed - great kitchen area, the price for two wonderful nights was 2/3 of ONE night at a higher end hotels and some of the staff were very friendly.
Very convenient location near the harbour, this hotel is so great for the price and the staff is also very helpful a guest has difficulties.
The location of the inn is superb - just off the waterfront and centrally located to anything you'd want to do in downtown Victoria.
The Helm's Inn is one of those rare places that have it all: the location is absolutely great, next to Victoria's Museum and Beacon Hill Park, near the inner Harbour and all the restaurants and shops downtown.
Excellent location close to Victoria city centre quiet residential street, probably the best value for the dollar we have seen frm coast to coast to coast and the staff is helpfull and friendly.
Very good location, there's also near to the Pacific Express station you can easily take the Bus to downtown Vancouver and close to a very nice park.
Royal Blue Tours - A double decker bus ride through historical downtown Victoria, Chinatown, Oak Bay & Uplands residential areas- Mansions from the 1900's - both scenic and historically rich in information.
We are only paying $50 US to stay in a room with a king size bed, kitchenette, bathroom, etc.
Our room had a very comfortable king size bed and a small kitchen area that included a stove, microwave, small refridgerator, pots, pans, dishes, and a small table with two chairs.
We were able to have two adults and two children in one room, with one king size bed and a murphy bed, which was totally fine and comfortable.
We had full kitchen facilities, two double beds, a sofa bed and a balcony for $190 per night, an absolute bargain.
We put my son to bed everynight in the 2nd bedroom at 8pm and it worked wonderfully.
Free wireless, continental breakfast and newly renovated facility.
Getting breakfast at Samuels at a reduced price is nice.
It's within walking distance to all the harbor attractions and restaurants.
They provide fresh flowers and a small continental breakfast every morning.
While in Victoria try out the Blue Fox Cafe on Fort Street for a reasonable great breakfast.
Good location, great Value and front desk staff were both friendly and helpful.
Location is excellent, highly recommended - truly is `Victoria's Best Kept secret and the front desk staff is very helpful.

The staff was really kind and we reserved a "suite" was essentially a very large.
Limited free car parking but get in early.
It has a wonderful inner courtyard garden and parking facilities.
Be aware that there are no clothes closets or hangers (just some pegs) and there is no elevator so the stairs might pose a problem.
The room was very clean and cozy and came with a nice size kitchenette which we would have used if we stayed longer.
The suite was clean, built in kitchen makes very convenient for.
The room was very comfortable, very clean, and the amenities quite substantial.
The bathroom was on the small side but very clean.
