I can accept this because of the location but when a bowl of soup is close to 6 pounds then you add another 3 pounds for the room service charge it begins to make it very expensive.

At first, we were thrilled with the location next to the #4 terminal at Heathrow Airport but that changed.

The Hilton's Terminal 4 location is quite convenient, the design of this hotel is fantastic and rooms are very clean.

To get to Terminals 1,2,3,or 5, you can either do a longer walk to get to the underground/subway or you can take a 20 pound taxi ride.

Not having to rely on taxis or airport shuttle buses has to be the major plus point - we caught the Heathrow Express to Terminal 4 and then it was only a few minutes walk to the hotel.

Bedroom above average, nice firm bed, good bathroom, breakfast good if pricey, service good, food good too.

It was very comfortable with a good bed and what looked like a newly refurbished bathroom and faced outwards so you could see the planes landing, (half of the room face inwards towards the atrium).

The room was average for a Hilton, the bed was comfortable, and the shower curtain had magnets in the bottom so it stuck to the bath not to you!

Would I stay here again, yes if I had to, the bed was comfy, the bathroom well below average, but the room was quiet, clean and convenient for Terminal 4.

Our room 546 was a very small compact room with a double bed, small table and chairs with an equally small bathroom.

My husband and I ate in the Zen, the chinese restaurant, and had some of the best chinese food I'd ever eaten.

The hotel has 3 restaurants - a casual eaterie, oriental/sushi restaurant and the brasserie.

The restaurants are very good especially the Chinese restaurant located on the ground floor.

Forget the restaurants - their staff speaks little to no English, has no common sense, and at 10:30 in the morning cannot even produce a breakfast menu.

The hotel is modern and well appointed with three restaurants, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym, business centre, day rooms, and a few shops for buying necessary items.

No fuss and hassle catching shuttle buses to the long term parking.

Easy access to gym and pool area which had lots of floats for my daughter.

Also, we were quite upset that there was a charge of $30 to access the internet, especially as even the B&B's we stayed at offered free wireless.

The room, while average, was clean, quiet and cool.
