The room had an odd odor (we went to walmart for air fresheners), the mattress on the sofa bed was ripped and the support at the foot of the bed was broken, The furnishings and walls were marred and worn.

The rooms, although huge, featured two pillows with some of the dirtiest pillowcases I've ever seen, stained towels, a toilet seat about to fall off its hinges, and a stopped up sink.

The rooms all smelled funky and only the suites had doors located inside.

The first room we were assigned, the ceiling had substained water damage from a leaky air conditioner which was not cooling the room.

There were also cobwebs all over the room and the towels didn't look like they had been washed since the last guests left.

It also says "full" cooked to order breakfast, but was really a contenintal breakfast set up in the old bar.

On a positive note, the woman managing the breakfast buffet was very pleasant.

The manager and staff of Hawthorn Suites in OKC should be embarrassed.

We wonder what prevented the staff from taking them to the dumpster 50 feet away.

If the staff starts to clean better I would recommend this hotel.

The free wireless internet that was promised never worked, despite several calls to the front desk speaking with a clueless college student (my computer was working just fine).

We picked this hotel because was near my mother's house in OKC and the staff was nice.

It is very close to several clubs and has its own next to the lobby.

There was a broken beer bottle in the bottom of the hotel pool.
