Hard Rock Hotel San Diego - 圣迭戈

The location was great, centrally located in the Gaslamp District.

The location of the hotel is great, right in the heart of the Gaslamp District and next to Petco Park.

The location is great, but as I've said before, there are a ton of hotels nearby and the Hard Rock's location is not better than any other.

And when the owner asked for his car the Valet had to tell him they gave it to someone else who was taking it to the airport!

It is right next to the trolley station, a block from the ballpark, across the street from the convention center and in the gaslamp district.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was perfect, the towels were plush, and the TV was nice.

The bed linens were terrific, but the towels were those strange cotton towels that feel nice to the touch, but just seem to move the water around.

The suite was spacious and had 2 queen beds, 2 large flat screen tv's, a mini bar, a balcony, and a nice funky vibe to it.

They had not even made the bed, let alone do any other cleaning or straightening of the room.

Lots of windows, and a plush comfy bed and carpet.

I had a meal at their "posh" restaurant "Nobu"one evening and found the food to be expensive and not very good, also the portions were extremely small.

The food was some of the best Japanese cuisine that we have ever had and we would have to recommend Nobu during your stay at the Hard Rock.

You will have to eat at Mary Jane's for breakfast and NoBu for dinner.

The hotel basically anchors the entrance to the Gaslamp District (comprised of hotels, restaurants, bars and shops too numerous to mention) and reflects the general atmosphere.

The location is fabulous as it sits on the south end of the Gaslamp District and the restaurants are good, friendly staff, but we will NEVER stay in the hotel again, although we may eat at Nobu.

People working inside the hotel, at the front desk and in room service were very - but the pretentious attitude of the outdoor staff was a bit much to handle.

The front desk staff could not have gone better, all the girls there went out of there way to be friendly and helpful.

I mentioned our problem with the front desk staff and she couldnt have been nicer and apolojized many times.

The valet service is $30 for guests, and you have to pay a mandatory $15 a night for a bottle of water, some candy, phone calls and internet services (which should be optional in my opinion).

One elevator was out of service and there was no lighting in the spa/workout room one morning.

They set up a velvet rope at both entrances and make you display a key card to get into the lobby (even though you need a key card to get the elevators to work).

We were offered a downgraded room and told we could shower in the gym and wait in the lobby until 8:30PM!

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms were very clean and modern.

Rooms were clean but housekeeping was erratic.

Not clear what in the room was free and what was pay for.

When we entered the room, it appeared to be clean, at least cleaner than the hallway.
