Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Seminole - Hollywood - 好莱坞

The Seminole tribe has various casinos around south Florida, but this location (and another location in Tampa) have the Hard Rock label.

I had visited the Tampa location about a day after it opened under the Hard Rock label and was rather unimpressed; however, that was almost 3 years ago so I'm sure it's gotten alot better.

I'd visit this location, as well as the Tampa location, before the other Indian casinos in the area (they seem very generic in comparison to the Hard Rock locations).

The only negative thing is the cab fare from the Ft Lauderdale airport is pricey.

We took a taxi to the "broadwalk", not worth the $30 one way, nothing there to see really.

Massive bed with Egyptian cotton white sheets, large (non-plasma) TV with sound amplifier and CD/DVD player, table and 4 leather chairs for in-room dining and a large bathroom which opened out via a large wooden louvered window into the bedroom.

1) The rooms: As nice a room as I've stayed in: Clean, new, tastefully decorated, great shower / bathroom layout, very comfortable beds.

Well, we get up to the room and its a HUGE one bedroom/2 bath apartment!

Other than that the rooms especially the bed is GREAT, oh and the stereo system in the room is good too!

The large modern bath tub had nice touches like bath salts, candle and loofah; with the usual robes and (not nice) toiletries in the bathroom.

The pizza shop in the food court was fantastic, as were the shops, restaurants and bars in Seminole Paradise.

We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, at the BluePlate restaurant for breakfast, the Beach Grill and some restuarants outside in the Paradise and were very happy with the service, so it's just certain area's in the resort that are bad.

The room was wonderful, the drinks at the pool bar were cheap and the servers in the restaurants were all very nice.

There were a few shops (can do in about 1/2 hour) limited restaurants (1 really high-end, the rest middle of the road and fast food!

The Hotel is attached to "Paradise" with several restaurants, shops and entertainment.

Service everywhere (front desk, housekeeping, room service, etc) was great.

Mile long walks through lobbies, excellent service and receptionist was friendly.

Would stay there again en route to somewhere else but some of the staff need a lesson in customer service so I would be reluctant to stay for any length of time.

Beautiful amenities but some staff training in service needed.

Security was tight, especially around the pool area and the lift entrance to the rooms which was very comforting.

We had a balcony that overlooked the gorgeous pool area.

The pool area was the most beautiful I've ever seen!

The rooms are very clean and confortable - you will definetelly get enough rest.

The hotel was clean and neat, our service was excellent, the room was beautiful.

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and updated, the pool is also great.

Staff is professional and the rooms are very clean.

After one hour of aggravation (and no clean room) they finally came through with a previosuly CLEANED pool view room.
