Harbour View Inn Charleston - 查尔斯顿

Located in a wonderful section of town and the location is quite possibly the best in Charleston.

The location was great right next to the pier and Waterfront Park, easy walking to great restaurants and the heart of downtown.

The central location of the Harborview was close to restaurants, tours, plus also had the beautiful view of the harbour.

Then there was the aftermath as we packed up more clothing, party props and gifts than we had arrived with and had multiple taxi and car departures.

We had a ride from the airport, so we walked everywhere the first two days, then rented a car in town for the last two so we could drive out to the plantations and Savannah.

The furniture in the rooms looked very new, but the room could definitely use a nightstand beside the bed.

Tub and sink enamel chipped, soap holder worn, ceiling in bathroom dirty, spots on the carpet) On the other hand, bed was very comfy, continental breakfast (included) was fresh and plentiful.

The room (and bed) were very comfortable and nicely decorated.

The bedroom had another large armoire with a TV and a four post king size bed and another balcony off the bedroom.

Large room, very clean with a comfortable king bed.

Complimentarily breakfast could be had every morning with many choices of food, time to have it served and choice for dining, either in your room or the rooftop deck (overlooking the harbor) or in the parlor.

There were 3 different breakfasts to choose from and the one we usually chose consisted of 2 large, fresh pastries each with butter and jelly and a small dish of fruit.

The hotel is perfectly positioned for daily walks to the interesting sights, shops and restaurants of the historic district.

The hotel also provides ice water and iced tea in the lobby were you can look out on to the fountain and the pier at Waterfront Park and browse menus from restaurants while you plan where to have another fabulous Charleston meal.

The Harborview Inn was within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the historic district and also about a 15 minute walk to the Imax theater and Charleston Aquarium.

I would like to thank the Hotel Manager for her compassion and generosity; however, I would stress that good customer service should start where the public first interracts with the hotel - at the front desk.

Pros: convenient location, close to downtown attractions and restaurants; quiet; comfortable rooms, polite staff, excellent bellman service; some rooms on E side of hotel have view of Charleston harbor.

From front desk to bellmen the service was top notch.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

The lobby is tiny, however, with a tiny elevator.

24 hour coffee and tea available in the lobby along with bowls of M&M's was a very nice touch as was the afternoon wine tasting and evening cookes and milk.

The inn has a very intimate feel, and the lobby area is very open and has great views.

Sparkling clean rooms and one block from delicious restaurants.

Service was remarkable, the room was very clean.

The room itself was clean, and I am a stickler in this area.

Our room was very clean and the amenities were nice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was well appointed, very clean and comfortable (Tempur-Pedic "Drean-Spa" mattress) and there were many extras that made the guests stay very special.
