Harborview Inn Seward

When my head hit the pillow I was asleep, therefore I assume that the bed was comfortable.

The bathroom was large enough and the room was very nice.

It had a king sized bed but was a little over furnished.

With a fully equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable rooms with a living room- this was terrific for our party of four.

The room was clean and reasonably sized, decorated in Alaska motifs (sort of grown-up camp) but uninspired.

Apollo Restaurant had good Greek food for Lunch.

It is within reasonable walking distance to both the downtown area (coffee shops, Alaska Sealife Center, bars, and restaurants) and to the harbor area (additional restaurants and gift shops along with cruise and tour checkpoints).

Additionally ray's Waterfront Restaurant had excellent seafood.

The "noisy" bar referenced in other posts has been closed by the city :-).

Their recommendations for restaurants were right on the money.

The front desk staff was helpful and accommodating, the room was clean.

Handy location, nice decor and front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Some open onto the lobby while others do not have windows, but do have a balcony overlooking the lobby.

Free on site parking and we needed dry towels after a rainy day on a boat.

The harbor area (where most boat tours start) is within reasonable walking distance; free parking at the Inn allowed us to walk to the harbor area on the morning of our tour without having to pay for parking in the harbor area.

There is no fridge or microwave, and no internet connection other than a dial-up jack.

The internet router is inside the unit so the signal was super strong.

Room was in excellent condition and kept spotlessly clean.

Very convenient to downtown Seward, friendly staff and the rooms were clean.

Quaint, clean rooms, included mini fridge and micro.

The room itself was just average basic room, but it was clean.

The rooms were clean and the staff pleasant enough.
