Handlery Hotel & Resort San Diego - 圣迭戈

The location is excellent, 10 minutes to Old Town all the good Mexican restaurants are located and helpful offering us some useful tips for our first trip to San Diego.

The hotel was fairly near Old Town, just a quick Trolley ride away but it is located in a very inconvenient location when trying to access the downtown or other districts of the city.

This hotel's location is very convenient--close to all the sight-seeing points and shopping centers, and it's right next to the major freeway exit.

Da wir kein Auto fahren, mussten wir uns auf den Shuttle-Bus und Taxis verlassen, was sehr gut geklappt hat, wir konnten ohne Probleme alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von San Diego besichtigen.

The bus does stop out front and if you have a car I-8 runs by out front and there is easy access to the zoo, Sea World, the airport, the harbour, beaches, etc, etc.

The corridors to the rooms and the rooms themselves could do with a lick of paint to brighten them up - but that said, we found the bed comfortable enough and the facilities were good (no room safe though - something of an oversight).

Although the room, which was small and had 2 double beds, was clean, the bathroom was mediocre, with chipped paint, scratches on the door and toilet!

Our family stayed here for 3 nights, in 3 two double bed rooms.

Despite it being the busy Labor Day weekend, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.

The bathroom was small and cramped and the bed wasn't very comfortable.

We also didn't think too much of the restaurant-we ate there once for breakfast, and thought it was a bit too expensive (the food was really quite bland), with slightly rude and inattentive staff.

If you ever eat at Postcards (their restaurant), try to avoid the breakfast times.

Good breakfasts in the Postcards restaurant, and evening meals not too bad either.

The pool area was fantastic, the hotel staff was more than accomodating to us and maid service was prompt.

Service the best we have ever stayed at and concierge are really helpful.

This IS a three star hotel - it has private facilities, gym, pool and room service.

Kids were tired and we appreciated the huge pool and large spa.

Pool is wonderful, used the fitness center.

The other was that there was no free Wi-Fi in the Hotel.

The staff was excellent the Hotel was always clean the room smelled so fresh everyday.

The room was spotless and very comfortable we had no problem with noise at night as other reviews had said.

at the reception I think her name was Kimberley she was very helpful and whilsts rooms were clean and comfortable.
