  It is about 7-10 mins from the beach, but is worth the peace and quiet from all the nightlife and college noice. If you have a chance, request a room in the new updated, renovated wing of the hotel. There a nice, open room to eat your breakfast and plenty of families there that let you know it is a great stay for the whole family!

  Outdoor pool is small, but perfect for small children. Every staff memeber I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful.

  We have stayed here twice while visiting our son who is at college here. Both times were nice..clean and comfy.The eating area was remodeled and much nicer, more open. The breakfast was very nicely layed out and tasty.
  The air conditioner in our room however was so noisy I had to turn it up and not be as cool as I would have liked.
  overall...good place to stay.

  I had termites in the first room assigned and was moved to another room.

  Had trouble with room key cards demagnatizing. Had to have the front desk swipe them again. There is a Pizza Hut restaurant across the street which was handy for an evening snack.

  I had to stay here because a family member was in the hospital but the staff was so nice and referred different places to eat. Their beds are absolutely to die for, we wanted to take them home with us bc you just sink into them!

  This Hampton Inn shone in all the usual categories: convenient yet quiet location; clean, spacious, comfortable rooms; very friendly and competent staff; good complimentary breakfast. My family wound up here after a reservation snafu at the other Hampton Inn in Wilmington.

  The hotel was less than a year old; the rooms almost still smelled new. The hotel (lobby AND rooms) were extremely clean.
