The price wasn't cheap (compared to other Hampton Inns), but I guess that's to be expected staying at a newly remodeled hotel during the height of the tourist season.

I decided to call one more hotel to compare prices, etc.

Wonderful location across the street from Traverse Bay, i'd stay here again especially I get such a good rate.

The location was convenient to the shopping areas and staff was friendly and accomodating.

I wasn't sure of the location of this hotel in regards to a beach, traffic and distance to downtown.

The hotel has a wonderful location - right across the street from the State Park.

It is directly across the street from the beach, although crossing would be risky and you'd need to walk a half-block or so to the foot bridge.

The bed was comfortable, room very clean.

Appreciated the "lapdesk" in the room so you can comfortably use the lap top or have a writing surface while sitting in bed.

We had a king bed with a sofabed for guest that came to stay during the Cherry Festival.

The room and bathroom were both very clean and the maids did a good job.

I was looking for some of the "go to" breakfast bags, didn't see any, so I sat down to eat and the food was fine.

The Free Breakfast buffet in the dining room was phenomonial and the 24 hour coffee/tea/cocoa service was appreciated as well.

The price is good and the staff goes out of their way to make things pleasant for visitors.

    Great location and the beach across the street was easily accessible. This hotel was fantastic, internet was offerred in the lobby I thought was nice and the customer service was excellent. The room was large, breakfast was good and check-in was easy and quick.

    Waterfront in Traverse City is perfect for quick access to the beach and the hotel is located pretty convenient to downtown. The price is good and the staff goes out of their way to make things pleasant for visitors. Room overall are clean modern.

    Hot tub area beyond clean, a fine stay and the price seemed high. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the beds were soft and comfortable. Pillows were great, the breakfast was better than most.
