I have been to many luxury hotel, I found that they try to get you to spend more money once you get there.
This is a great hotel for the price, my Dad and I stayed here for the Grey Cup, honestly I really can't say enough about this hotel.
If you like paying a premium to eat off styrofoam plates, this is the hotel for you.
Great location -- close to the Forks and the hotel is clean.

Several times late at night we used the taxi service the hotel recommends (signs & phone number posted in the hotel) which was very reasonably priced and clean as is downtown W'peg bus.
Easy access from airport, next to the historic section of Winnipeg and the $99 special rate we ended up getting didn't show up.
I had a double bed room which was clean and comfortable.

Although breakfast was complimentary, I was in a rush and had no time to sit and eat.
It is in walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurant, business, and some sightseeing opportunities - Forks.

I was very surprised to find an almost-new hotel, very clean everywhere, great staff, free internet throughout the hotel, parking, newspapers, pool, exercise room and breakfast.
There was a hot continental breakfast each morning, the kids (ages 12-17) said the pool was OK, but was disappointed that the fitness area was for 18 year olds and up.
eating locations are within a short walk and free parking in the hotel surface lot.
