We end up paying more than this hotel, but it was worth every price.
What a find, amongst some overpriced old stinky hotels in area.
The downtown location was perfect, and very close to University of Tennessee.
Great location, theater was in walking distance in a safe neighborhood, plenty of restaurants near by on the way to the venue, and free parking made things a breeze!
Of course it is brand new but still with superb decor, exceptional lighting, white cotton bedding, flat/wide screen TV and a fantastic downtown location at a reasonable rate you couldn't ask for more.
While the Hampton Inn is in a great location it can be quite noisy.
It was very clean and fresh, the staff was amazingly helpful and nice, location was outstanding.
The rooms were really clean and comfortable - the bed was awesome!
The bathroom was "sparkling clean" with enough towels and sample toilet items.
The hotel itself was very clean, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, comfortable - the bed was awesome.
They were very rough to the touch and my daughter ended up with a scratch on her face from the one portion of a wall that was against the side of the head of her bed.
The room was spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were perfect (they have a selection of both firm and soft available in the room).

The couple who were in charge of the food service had made an unusual choice for breakfast.
They were also helpful with providing a restaurant recommendation which turned out to be one of the best places we ate during our entire trip.

This newer Hampton has many nice amenities, including soft bedding, flat screen TV, small microwave and refrigerator in room, and two computers with free Internet access and a small pool off the lobby.
Unlike some of the previous reviews I found no problem with the parking garage.
Coming back after the game they had hot coffee and cookies in the lobby.
