Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo/Downtown - 水牛城

Great location and nice hotel in a terrible neighborhood.

We were even allowed an access key to use the first floor restrooms and the parking lot for a couple of hours after checkout, but before we had to leave for the airport about 20 minutes away.

Starbucks, Subway, and a number of eclectic eateries are within a block.

The bedroom had the standard, comfortable Hampton bed, with the one needed non-down pillow, closet and incredibly large bathroom.

The room was lovely -- a "queen" bed (not so sure), with a cozy duvet, spotless bathroom.

There was also anothe part of the room with a sofa/pull-out bed, microwave, bar friidge, sink, etc.

The room was very clean, the queen bed was luxurious.

The other double bed in the room was fine.

Also, Bacchus which is a new wine bar/restaurant is only a block or so from hotel.

There were three restaurants to choose from in the hotel in addition to the free breakfast in the morning.

The Chocolate Bar was very cool, hip martini bar which also served food and desserts.

The only thing issue we faced was the side that our room was located on was directly across the street from a lounge/bar and you can hear the music outside.

The restaurant on the corner was excellent, not to mention there is subway and other close places to eat.

The pool area was clean, the hotel was nice and front desk staff was great.

We knew to expect a certain level of quality from a Hampton, but were very pleasantly surprised at the level of service and attentiveness displayed by the staff.

Is it needed to access the elevators above the first floor, as well as the pool area (including adjacent restrooms), the free parking lot, the business center -- and of course, your room.

Although I didn't use it, they had an attractive pool and gym area.

The lobby was small and cozy and adjacent to the indoor pool.

There was also a TV with a Nintendo I think (can't remember very well LOL) and a black wireless keyboard because you could connect to the internet from your TV (even though it was REALLY expensive, that should be free!

Was able to check my e-mail in their business center that had 2 computers with free high-speed internet.

Overall, the room (and the entire hotel) was very well maintained and clean.

The room I stayed in was clean and spacious.

It is a swimming pool with statutes, a clean and sufficient exercise room, complimentary breakfast, free cookies in the afternoon and hot chocolate and coffee anytime.

The hotel was great, the staff was very welcoming and the room was very well maintained and clean.
