Hampton Inn San Diego Downtown - 圣迭戈

This hotel is situated in an excellent location for sightseeing along the harbor, Little Italy , Gaslight district and downtown.

I love San Diego, and this hotel is a perfect location.

Good price for the location, did not notice any noise problems.

Since the shuttle was not available prior to 6am, I asked the front desk to arrange a taxi pickup so that I could get to the airport in time for my early morning departure flight.

Free Shuttle Bus to pick us up from Airport and drop us back was a nice touch.

The room was very good with a comfortable king bed & jacuzzi tub/shower.

We returned to the room after dinner, set the air conditioner as high as it would go to drown out any noise, and went to bed hoping the trains would come by infrequently.

In the napper's favor, the beds are so irresistably comfortable, I can see one easily suffering from "bed glue".

The beds were very comfortable with nice bed comforters.

When we arrived we were told the only room with a king sized bed was at the back.

The room is clean, breakfast is good (though beware of other travelers not using proper utensils to select food from the serving platters), and the staff is helpful.

They have a Crazy Shirt shop and several restaurants.

The morning breakfast was average but provided the protien to start the day and get you to lunch.

I appreciated the desk and "pizza size" coffee table ;-) Talking about food, the free breakfast is pretty standard but I liked it.

The variety of food for breakfast does not compare to other Hampton Inns we have stayed at.

I entered the elevator on the lobby level to go to my room on the 4th floor, but when the fire department opened the doors I was in the parking garage level (one level below the lobby).

We stayed on 23rd and 24th January 2008 and on the 24th the Shuttle Bus drove right into the hotel lobby.

There's nothing spectacular about the hotel and nothing terrible, except the parking garage/elevator.

The trains run near the hotel, wired Internet connection is a true 100Mbps is cool.

High-speed Internet access is free and easy to access.

Excellent value for San Diego, the staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean.

Typical Hampton: Clean rooms, breakfast is fine.

The hotel is in a great area, staff always willing to provide advice and the rooms are spacious and clean.

The Hampton Inn San Diego is GREAT, the rooms are very nice and clean, the free breakfast is pretty standard.
