The bed and breakfast were fine, but the Internet connection in the room was broken, there was a problem with the hot water, and several other amenities were not up to par (lighting, phone location, reservation requests being followed, etc.

Clean, modern rooms with nice pillows, bedding, bathroom.

Staff were very nice, room/bathroom was clean and breakfast were fine.

The room was clean and the water pressure in the shower was much better than the typical hotel.

Tips: there is no restaurant or bar, but both are available in the par-a-dice next door.

Seemed comparable to HIE except that the breakfast at Hampton had more variety and the woman that was serving as the hostess during breakfast was very attentive to keeping food stocked as well as was super-nice.

Staff were very nice and helpful in guiding us to restaurants in the area.

We did drive to a restaurant on the river, Granite City Grill, which was enjoyable.

The staff at the front desk was rude and sarcastic to us and since we were coming from out of town for a little get away I was not very impressed with their mannerism.

Overall a nice stay and i received excellent customer service.

The not so good: The gym and the pool are small.

There is nothing within walking distance of the hotel though except for the Pair-a-dice casino and hotel that share the parking area and entrance off the main road with the Hampton.

The pool area was very clean and the kids were happy with the warm temperature of the water.

Peoria doesn't have much to offer in the way of great hotels and the good: Wireless is free.
