Good price (especially with AAA rate) relative to Parliament Hill or Byward Market hotels.
The hotel is definitely not near any attractions, so you will have to drive downtown and pay to park.
Quiet location and proximity to bus route downtown free parking.
I wouldn't let the location deter me at all.
Nice - underground parking and excellent location.
I don't think I'd like to be here without a car, although there were always taxis hanging around outside, and the money saved by not staying downtown would probably pay for them many times over.
With no additional charge for parking, either on property or underground garage, we felt that we got a great value for the price and would not hesitate to stay there again or reccommend it to others.

My 14 year old daughter and I enjoyed the Canada Day 2007 long weekend here, and the only drawback was that the hotel bar was temporarily closed (no big deal really) and breakfast was very crowded with no room to sit in the dining room.
Despite not haveing a restaurant, we managed to find our own lunch with a quick walk up the street and enjoyed a nice supper in the lobby (not complimentary).
Free wireless internet, comfortable mattress and the continental breakfast exceeded expectations.
