As for the value, in the summer it is higher than I would anticipate because of the demand for hotels due to the baseball camps.
The location was perfect and hotel was clean.
The location isnt good if you want to walk to anything but its by far the best hotel in Oneonta.
We stayed in a King suite with a king sized bed and a pull-out sofa.
We arrived late on Friday night, check in went great and the roll away bed we requested was already in the room.
The towels cannot wrap around your waste, the rooms are the size of a shack, the cars park outside your window, and you pay over $250 for the base room.
Beds and rooms are very comfortable and clean.
The bathroom was very nice with a roomy shower (no bathtub).
The one downside is it is a ways to any restaurant, but many restaurants deliver.
Breakfast was okay at best, nothing to get excited about unless you want to eat nothing but danish, bagels, bread and more ways to serve carbs!
The breakfast spread is better than any other Hampton Inn I've stayed at - which is more than 50 nights per year.
The pool was warm and the breakfast the next day had a wide variety of items.
There is a free hot breakfast offered in the morning which consisted of breakfast pizza, muffins, doughnuts, pastries, hot coffee & juice.
Pool area looked nice, our stay was perfect and the front desk staff were friendly.
The front desk staff were friendly but the morning breakfast staff were surly and rude on more than one occasion to both me, my son and his dad.
Furthermore the staff was wonderful and every employee that we encountered was super friendly.
The hotel has a small fitness area and a heated pool with a whirlpool.
We enjoyed the indoor pool and whirlpool, but the whirlpool could have been warmer given the freezing temperatures outside!
They had a computer in the lobby that you could use.
Also free high speed internet access was a plus.
It is clean, has a pool and hot tub, and is near the highway.
Staff was wonderful, the bathroom was extra clean.
The Hampton has comfortable clean rooms, they recommended a great restaurant.
Lovely clean room, the breakfast satisfied us and a nice pool.
Nice place, better service and the rooms were comfortable and clean.
