I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Knoxville for a quick overnight stay. The location was perfect as it was right off the highway, making it a convenient pit stop for my family. The staff, particularly Mr Anthony, was exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The in-room coffee maker with disposable filter baskets and single-serving pre-packaged coffee was a nice touch and far superior to the coffee provided in the lobby. Additionally, we loved the saltwater pool and the fact that the hotel is only 10 minutes away from downtown.

Quite a long way from "downtown" Memphsis as you couldn't walk into town and this was not clear at the time of booking.
