Hampton Inn Hickory - 希科里

Staff tells me they are moving to a new location in Hickory soon.

While the bed was nice, the rest of the room was very basic, motel 6 like with carpet and wallpaper and paint that needs refreshing.

The bed was nice, as were the sheets and towels, and there was the usual assorted breakfast items in the morning.

Nice room, good bath, good shower, good a/c.

The hotel had a large guest laundry area that was free, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the bed was very comfy.

This room was a little better - more spacious with a couch and shower curtain that bows out from the tub.

Good shower, the breakfast bar is well attended and ample.

The Continental Breakfast included muffins, frozen omelet, pancakes (which you can heat in the microwave) bagels, toasts, fruits, coffee and juice.

More than you can expect from a Continental Breakfast.

The public areas were very pleasant - I liked the hardwood floors and the front desk staff was efficient.

I didn't have any advanced reservations but the lady at the front desk was very courteous and helpful.

The hotel is clean, the staff is pleasant.

Staff very friendly, (as most North Carolinians are).

We just returned from a great stay in Hickory and the staff friendly.

I found the staff not very helpful on my arrival, being distracted by ringing phone lines and rather grumpy in general.

The lobby area was clean and housekeeping staff were as well.
