Good location close to Shands and the hotel itself is wonderful.

The location was great for travellers, just off I-75 on Archer Rd -- close to restaurants and shopping.

The last two times I stayed at this location in Gainesville, the mattresses are too light(cheap) and because of this, they move away from the box spring.

The beds were a very comfortable pillow top bed and the bedding was of high quality and also very comfortable in addition to being really clean with no hairs or stains.

The beds were so comfortable and everything was in fabulous working order from the wireless internet to the air conditioning system and the bathroom amenities.

Although the room was not lavish it was nicely appointed and had the same kind of beds they have at luxury hotels.

There are probably more quiet rooms than mine was, but my noisey room did not come with a noise discount.

I did a cursory check of the place for services and amenities and found that the restaurant serves a good breakfast and there was a pool.

Just blocks off Interstate 75 and within walking distance of at least 25 restaurants and an equal number of stores and shops.

Speaking of breakfast, the food was good, but nothing spectacular.

Also, on a side note, the continental breakfast was seriously lacking, the description on the phone sounded like we were getting real food.

When I tried to checkin, the front desk was not aware of my reservation.

I was disappointed as soon as I walked towards the elevator, very run down, stained carpet.

The pool area is nice it has three tables where you can hang out and relax with family and friends.

Elevators were extremely reliable and fast (never waited more than 10 seconds).

I didn't bother using the tv or wi-fi, so I can't comment on those.

My stay was fine, our room was large and clean, the morning breakfast had a great selection of fresh foods.

The bathroom was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was much more than 'continental.

Check-in was quick and efficient, and my room was bigger than average, clean and quiet.

We walked in with no reservations and had no problem getting a room which was perfectly clean and very comfortable.

The bathroom was very clean, but I did notice a few stray hairs.
