Surrounding location not too good but newer stuff like Target and WalMart nearby.
It is 3 miles away and in a much quieter location than the ones recommended by the hospital.
My only complaint was the location, several miles from Interstate 5 but worth the drive.
Easy access to downtown Eugene and the Eugene Airport.
As the other reviews state, it is located in a more industrial part of Eugene, but I find this hotel to be the most convenient for access to the Eugene Airport, which is why I frequent this hotel.
Close to the Eugene Airport with large rooms, extra comfortable beds with upscale bedding and choices of pillow firmness already on the bed, comfortable chair and ottoman, and a very large and nicely tiled bathroom.
We stayed in one of the two suites because 1) it was a nonsmoking room with a king bed; 2) we booked at the last minute and only the suites were available; and 3) my husband had a discount card.
Roomy queen size beds for the 3 of us, free internet connection, very deluxe room w/ bath.
Our room was clean and the king-sized bed was comfortable.
The room was boring but the bed was comfortable.
Very clean, good customer service, free parking, hi-speed internet, breakfast included and also a "breakfast on the go" for people who can't eat there (great bag with an apple, a breakfast bar, and water).
I was even surprised they actually had hot food for breakfast, the last time we were here 7/2004 they only had pastrys and cereal.
Breakfast was ok with a selection of 3 cereals and a hot dish, usually some kind of scrambled egg.

The front desk staff always had smiles for us every time we went thru the lobby and gave us a really excellent reconmendation for dinner.

I was booked into a smoking room by my travel agency, or so said the front desk staff, but I don't smoke and have never been given a smoking room at any other hotel booked by my agency.
Also, it is eaiser to get to due to the one way streets and downtown confusion of the hospital parking garage.
