For the price, this hotel is a good value.
The location was good because it is close to the downtown Clemson area, but oriced like a larger city---taking advantage of parents of students.
The bed was fantastic, breakfast was fine - nothing fabulous.
We didn't care - the rooms were big, rooms, beds were nice, and clean, which is my big thing.
This hotel was recomended to me by locals said was the best in town, staff were friendly and helpful, the beds themselves were quite comfortable.
The room was decent size, and had updated furniture.
Our room was at the back, but the train did not bother us.
Attentive staff and a real, honest to goodness breakfast bar!
Centrally located near the university, the breakfast at this hotel is pretty good too.

The service was friendly and amenable, but it was just too pricey for a basic hotel stay.
When I arrived there were freshly baked cookies at the reception area.
However, rooms are clean, staff are very co-operative ,especially the breakfast.
