Seriously, I've stayed in MUCH pricier hotels and this Hampton was a jewel for the price.
The location was great, the breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had in a hotel and the price was right as well.
In fact, most of the hotel locations in Cheyenne are so poorly located (most are across the street from the long freight-train track) that we plan to just avoid Cheyenne altogether.
The location is not great but there is a outback right across the parking lot.
The breakfast was okay and the location is not far from the downtown area.
Town itself is nice and I recommend the brew pub in the train station downtown highly.
The room was beautiful with a king-size bed and down comforter, and view of a herd of cattle.
Although the room was a standard queen room for Hampton, I was still impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the room; mainly the "heavenly" bed.
The bath room was huge and sparkling clean.
Mainly the heavenly bed, great staff - I was greeted every morning at breakfast.
In a good location, rooms are better than the others in town and the beds are the most comfortable I have been in in a hotel.
However, if you can pick up on of their to go bags which has a peice of fruit, breakfast bar, muffin and bottled water.
Breakfast is better than most "continental breakfasts" you find in hotels.
Ate at Outback Restaurant - convenient & good food.
Clean large rooms and the complementary breakfast served hot food.
They had homemade cookies for the kids, a happy hour with finger food and soda and the breakfast was much more than continental.
To the warm welcome by the staff and both times the service has been excellent.
The rates are high, the front desk staff are pleasant and helpful, the bathrooms are clean.
The hotel as a nice pool and a somewhat small but adequate fitness room.
The indoor pool was great, my kids enjoyed it - I worked out in the fitness room and enjoyed the TV - and the staff was friendly, welcoming and seemed seriously glad you were there.
Hotel lobby was very well kept and had the feel of a slightly more upscale hotel.
It had a microwave, mini-fridge and the high speed connection was superb!
High Speed internet hookup as well as modem lines.
The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean.
Also the staff was friendly, the rooms were extraordinarly clean and the indoor pool was heated.
Helpful at check-in, the staff was friendly and bathroom were very clean and comfortable.
Not bad for the price, the lobby is beautiful and the beds are big CLEAN and comfy.
The room itself was very spacious and although it might have been a little dated in the decor, it was very clean.
