  It is wireless, though, which is nice (the front desk had said it is wired, which was not the case). They offer a 'grab and go' bag in the morning too, which includes a bottle of water and some snacks - a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable - always an appreciated thing.

  The front desk gave me their menu (and several other less appealing ones). The high speed internet was not very good - very, very slow loading most pages.

  Like most, it has gone through the most recent update cycle, so the rooms were clean and nice, as was most of the hotel. Normal, tube television, new bedding, couch/coffee table and desk in upgraded room. The air conditioner was a bit louder than most. The service was good for a limited service, and the counter personnel seemed warm and friendly.

  Decent, four story hotel in a slightly out of the way location.

  Clean, comfortable rooms, staff friendly and helpful, good coffee, excellent breakfast biscuits. Triple-A rate was less than $100 for a double room, tax included.

  Everyone we encountered went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one-from the front desk staff to housekeeping. The rooms were spotless and well furnished with a large work desk, microwave and fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable with fine linen and the free breakfast was one of the best we've had anywhere.

  The property seemed to be fairly new and the room was very well kept. The best part of the stay was the comfortable bed. The room had a large desk that was out of the norm for your usual hotel. The breakfast bar was a good start for the day. The staff as very nice and even asked I came back down from the room to retrieve an item from my car that I forgot, if everything was OK with the room.

  On a recent business trip to Birmingham it was suggested by a fellow employee in our Birmingham office that I stay here. Besides the location next to the highway, it was overall a restfull business trip at the Hampton as the Hampton Inns are always top notch.

  The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

  The first room they assigned us was very noisy, we called down and she said she could change our room.

  The room was very clean and spacious, towels and linens were nice. The foam pillows and extra towels I had requested were in the room when we checked in.

  This location and my attempt to correct some problems leaves me with but one impression: The Maintenance Manger is incompetent. Bobby was good enough to tell me about the problems he had with the housekeeping manager and the fact that the general manager could not get things changed. The rest of the hotel was fine, including the free breakfast and facilities.

  The front desk staff was a bit distracted by some sort of commotion in the back office, but did manage to get me checked in quickly. My room was on the 6th floor of the six story building. Once entering my VERY smokey room, I noticed that, in addition to the ashtray smell, I had other problems. They apparently need to contact the builder responsible for the roof, as there was visible water damage on the ceiling, with a brown crystaline substance along the water-stained seams. In fact, the ceiling texture paint had actually flaked off onto the carpet in one part of the room. Water droplets were visible on the ceiling.

  The rooms were very nice and clean too. The breakfast was good also but they were running out of food during the last 45 minutes of it and had to open up another room since people were just sitting in the dinning area.
