Hampton Inn Birmingham-Colonnade - 伯明翰

It is in a very good location, right off Hwy.

Rooms well equiped and clean and a good location to explore Birmingham and the area.

Despite it's location at the I-459 / Hwy 280 interchange, it was a quiet hotel.

Overall, the hotel was nice in a perfect location and I would book another stay there in the future.

People from both my groups expressed interest in staying here again because of the service, quality, and location of this hotel.

Everything about this hotel says old: the room furnishings, the sub-standard bed for a Hampton, the tiny front desk that is squeezed in just across from some of the first floor guest rooms, and even the dated furniture in the breakfast area.

The bed was very comfortable and the room had a microwave, coffee maker, and large refrigerator.

The bathroom was clean, the tub, hot water and water pressure were all very good.

Plenty of nice big towels and washcloths in the bathrooms with huge shower/bathtubs.

This Hampton was sparkling clean, with relatively large rooms and very comfortable beds.

Also, for those doing business in the Colonnade business area, this hotel is at the epicenter, and is across the street from a great breakfast place (Edgar's Bakery), and near multiple good restaurants.

We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel but it looked great.

There were several great restaurants literally across the street and shopping and sightseeing were very close.

On top of a wonderful continental breakfast, I was really impressed.

We only ate the free hot breakfast on one morning, and it was all right, with biscuits and sliced smoked sausage.

I had to get up at 3 am to get milk for my son and staff at reception desk with a big smile got me several small cartons (at no charge) in less than 2 mins.

The hotel seemed fine for our stay and a big applause to the staff.

My first impression of the hotel was pretty good, the staff were very friendly and responsive.

The lobby was decorated like an Englsh country house.

When I checked in, they told me that they were having "snacks" in the lobby.

Since coffee and tea are available around the clock in the lobby, I did not find a need to use these appliances.

Staff were so friendly, the room was clean.

Both the common areas and rooms are spotless- the cleaning staff here could teach other hotels around the world a thing or two.
