With reasonable room rates, the Hampton can be recommended for a Baltimore stay to avoid the often overpriced and undermaintained downtown hotels.
For my money ($150 / night) I would probably stay at one of the BWI airports if visiting Baltimore, since the price was cheaper and it was closer to Baltimore.
