  Not alot of variety but adequate and the person in charge was very friendly and attentive. I would request a room on the north side which has a better view than the field on the south side.

  You could hear people in the adjacent rooms and someone had a crying baby in the room next to ours which was very annoying.

  From the very, very comfortable beds with very soft comfprters and lots of pillows to the beautiful bathroom with cherry furniture style vanity, to the great fridge, microwave and TV center. Fitness center-top notch and near the sparkling pool (large enough to swim laps in).

  Outdoor hot tub- Crystal clear, peaceful and relaxing (no overwhelming indoor sauna feel!

  The staff was very friendly and really helpful with directions, local info - everything. My only (small) complaint is that it would have been nice to have an outdoor (as opposed to indoor) pool, but given the location, that's a minor thing.

  The cleanliness and attentiveness of the staff is impressive. Book early if you are going near the time the Air Force Academy is having an event; beware when AFA guests seem to be in the majority many of them seem like they want to "own" the place making servicing "regular" guests a challenge.

  Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The complimentary wi-fi worked very well. The only complaint (which really is not a big deal) is our balcony view was of the back parking lot unless we stood up and kind of leaned toward our right to see the mountains, and if we sat on our patio chairs out there we couldn't see over the balcony solid concrete wall.

  We love this hotel, its clean,friendly friendly staff and its reliable. HOWL on the north side in the winter when the wind is blowing, they play Fox news in the lobby non-stop.

  This is a perfectly fine Hampton Inn that is clean, new and has a couple of extra touches (marble countertops in the bathroom, flat screen television) that make it a cut above. In addition, if you book a king suite with a balcony, you've got a terrific view of Pike's Peak and its surrounding neighbors.

  This is a fairly new Hampton Inn and Suites with the new bedding, a really nice bathroom and your typical breakfast which is fine for us. The room and public areas were very cleaned. Everyone at the front desk is well skilled in customer service and we were quite impressed with their willingness to answer questions, suggest restaurants, provide maps, etc. They even called us a half hour after we checked in to make sure everything in the room was up to our expectations. It is a good base for touring the Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, and getting to the Cog Railway for the ride up to Pike's Peak.

• The room was spacious, nicely decorated, quiet and had all the amenities you could think of. The breakfast was a notch above what was expected, seeing it was included.
