H10 Playa Meloneras Palace

Situated in a peaceful location but within walking distance of good restaurants and bars.

This was a great location, great staff, great food, lovely weather, and a fantastic Hotel.

The location was perfect and allowed you to walk the 10 - 15 minute walk to the Maspalomas lighthouse if you wanted.

The location was far enough away from the busy areas, but near enough,by foot or taxi, if necessary.

There is a complementary bus to the main town and beaches, or a taxi will cost no more than E3.

Instead of 2 rooms booked we were given one junior suite - the room was beautiful - but one toilet for 4 people was not enough and one bed was too small.

Spacious rooms with kingsized or twin beds, sofa and tub chairs, mini bar, tv etc and padded recliners on the large balcony.

We had ants in our room including the bathroom, the shower leaked, the shower screens allowed water out of the bath.

We booked bed and breakfast as we don't like buffet meals in any hotel and this one has a very big dining room.

Rooms are very big with a very large bed.

Restaurant was not much better broken and chipped dirty crockery, dissappointed with food, very limited lunch available as Pool bar closed.

All the meals we had at the various restaurants were good with one exception which I think was the dish we chose as much as the restaurant.

The area around the hotel is being developed, although this does not interfere with the H10, but there is a lovely Spanish bar across the road at the back of the hotel and a couple of restaurants which are good for lunch.

The public areas where really good too with the pool area, restaurants and bar areas all being clean, elegant and effecient.

The Italian restaurant Ciao served outstanding pizzas - not the awful undercooked bland affairs in other restaurants in Maspalomas.

Could not fault staff especially around the bar and reception as for the resturant the waiters their did not seem to be enjoying the job they were employed to do.

OK the rooms, maid service, cleanliness, location are but it is let down by the food, waiting staff, and entertainment.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and made sure you got excellent service.

Generally speaking, both the standard of service and friendliness of staff was excellent, but they will be having great trouble coping this week as they are fully booked.

It costs around 15 euros each per session for use of the pool, gym, jacuzzi, treatment showers and the relaxing area and extra for treatments.

We did pay to use the 'wellness centre' and gym; the pool & sauna etc were fabulous.

We used the fitness gym regularly and again excellent.

Rooms were very clean and the cleaners very friendly.

The public areas and rooms are spotless, my partner said he felt that wherever we walked it felt as though someone had just cleaned the area which is rare.

The interior of the hotel and rooms were very clean.

Hotel was clean rooms were spacious and maids kept rooms very clean.

The room was clean, at dinner a waitress came straight to the table, you were never ignored.
